Jay Torrence VP of Client Services
Jay has 10 years of experience in Human Capital Management. Prior to joining Emerald Software, Jay managed an HRIS/Payroll team at the North American Mission
Board, a large non-profit agency based in Alpharetta, Georgia. Jay also worked in payroll and benefits for ChoicePoint, and was an actuarial analyst in the
retirement practice for William M. Mercer, Inc. Jay joined the Emerald team as a Senior Consultant in 2007, and was subsequently promoted to VP of Client
Services. Jay is responsible for all client service functions, including professional services, implementations, and ongoing customer support. He received a
Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Georgia College and State University, and in his senior year Jay was an NCAA All American tennis player. Jay is a member
of IHRIM, the American Payroll Association, and the AeA.
